Terminal 4 (T4) is constructed on the site of the former Budget Terminal (BT) located about 2 kilometres away from the 3 main terminals (T1,2,3).  The ground breaking was held on 5 November 2013 and T4 is expected to be completed by 2017. The two-storey building with gross floor area of 195,000 sqm, T4 is ability to handle 16 million passenger movements a year.  There will be 12 Refuse Load Stations, located at strategic area, connected with a 1,200 meter pipe network to convey approximately 6~8 tons of waste per day to Bin Center, which located 300m away in average.  Stream SCADA System and SMS Reporting System will be installed to manage and support the terminal’s AWCS operations effectively in 24/7/365 manner.

With the system in place, waste can be removed more regularly, effectively  and unsightly for  a cleaner environment.
